DIY: Garden and Wagon

Paul and I recently cleaned up an abandon lot in
the back of the warehouse where we live to plant a
vegetables and herbs. Our garden is approximately
one block from our house, so hauling tools has
become a problem. We really needed a wagon, but
we didn't have the funds to purchase one.

Thus began my search for wooden shipping pallets
all over town. After deconstruction the pallets I sawed
and drilled pieces together to create my wagon. Then
hand painted an Indian inspired design along its edges.

The garden is still in the beginning stages. I can't wait
to see of veggies grow. We currently have planted:
dill
corn
mint
chive
beets
basil
lettuce
cilantro
potatoes
tomatoes
sweet pea
chamomile
green beans
morning glories

I will defiantly add more pictures as the spring turns to summer.
