Boots and Pine

My dear neighbor Arden Wray came over this week to take a few photos of me in my apartment for her site, Boots and Pine. I was more than honored to be featured along with a group of interesting  creatives. Arden has some real talent and is a breeze to work with. 
I rarely share my personal work / projects on this blog because I feel that  this is an archive of my curiosities, not my journal. I know you're out there  viewing but sometimes I feel that this corner of the internet is my encyclopedia  to thumb through when I need to revisit a inspiration. For now, I'll continue  documenting my life over on my Instagram.

Road Trip

A few weeks ago, I had the chance to drive through the Californian  desert in a vintage VW Westy with good friends. It was the first  time I had seen the desert, being a East Coast girl and all. I was in utter amazement of it's beauty and  said "Hello" to every cactus.    The trip took us from Costa Mesa to the San Bernardino Mountains,  over to Joshua Tree National Park, then onward to Agua Caliente  State Park, by way of Slab City and Salvation Mountain. more info: http://www.vwsurfari.com/

Testing. Testing. One. Two.

My account was hacked, and for a belief moment, I was led to believe  that I would never post on Les Yeux Sans Visage again. Thanks to the  fine folks at Blogger, we are up and running. Yesterday's incident made  me realize how important this little spot on the internet is to me. It's an  archive of my interests that I enjoy sharing with you. Although most posts  are super random, I'm excited that many of you keep coming back. THANKS

Museums of Chicago

Last month I visited the city of Chicago. I had  an excellent time explore the parks and museums.  I even had a world famous Chicago deep dish pizza.

San Francisco

Recently headed to San Francisco on assignment. My friend Roxanne and I traveled throughout the city visiting all of it's interesting neighborhoods. SF MOMA, Musee Mechanique, China town, and of course the Golden Gate Bridge.

Country Getaway

I had the pleasure of celebrating a good friends birthday in the country. It has become an annual summer tradition that refreshes me every year. I was excited to have an opportunity to play with some new cameras that  I have recently acquired, my Canon 7D and my iphone. (yes!
