Vivian Maier - Street Photographer

I had a lovely day exploring New York. The best part was stopping
by the Howard Greenberg Gallery to see the "Vivian Maier -Street
Photographer" exhibition. I have been a fan of her work for some
time now. It was great to have a rare chance to see her video work
also. She was fascinated by children, police incidents, demolition
people on the street and even dead animals.

Thank you John Maloof for discovering Vivian's work.
So excited to see that Powerhouse Books has made a book.

  1. Hey! I've been following your tumblr for some time, finally on to your blog. Really excited to see your photography posts and then boom! Vivian Maier! I can't explain the excitement I feel when I realize how many people saw and were moved by that show. I work at the gallery on Fridays... if you're ever in again, ask for Gabby! Always looking for new creative friends in New York :)

  3. There's a great New York color show up now... but the next one I think you'll be especially interested in- Sarah Moon. I believe it opens March 22... I'm guessing you know her already, but if you don't check this out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7RSknnxOals
