The First Girl Scout

The Girls Scouts celebrate their 100th birthday this week. Pictured below
is the very first girl scout, Daisy Gordon Lawrence, who joined the youth
organization in 1912. The organization was started by Daisy's aunt to teach
young girls important life skills. Daisy was the first girl to fill out an application.
