Wandervogel (Wandering Birds)

The Wandervogels were a gang of teenagers that formedbetween WWI and WWII. Their movement rejected materialism and consumerism by living off the grid in the German countryside. They researched folklore, dressed flamboyantly, and had major attitudes. During Hitler's reign, the Wander Vogels revoted against the Nazi's creating different gangs across the area that refused to join the Hitler-Youth.
