Project DOCUMERICA
Project DOCUMERICA (1971-1977) was created by the Environmental
Protection Agency (EPA) to document the awaking of U.S. environmental
concerns. Photographers captured images of diverse living environments,
from the mining communities of Appalachia to urban neighborhoods in Chicago.
