Spotlight:Alfred T. Palmer

Photography is one of my favorite mediums for telling stories.
I have strongly been considering heading to grad school for
photo journalism it's the work of journalists like Alfred T. Palmer
that inspires me. These documentary photos were shot for the Farm
Security Administration in 1942. Palmer, along with other journalists,
were asked to document the progress of New Deal programs in farming
areas that were struck hard by the Great Depression.

I realize that the dramatic lighting isn't typical with documentary

photography but find it works with this topic well
