Film: Moon

If you can find the movie, Moon, in a theater near you, don't miss it. (Not to be mistaken with the Twilight series's New Moon) It took all summer to finally find a theater playing it in Providence.But it's bouncing around most independent cinemas.
Sam Rockwell was brilliant in this sci-fi thriller. He is virtually the only character in the film, besides GERTY the robot portrayed by Kevin Spacey. Also, I enjoyed that this movie didn't have any cheap Hollywood animation tricks. Duncan Jones keeps it simple by using small models and great set design.


Next I need to revisit 2001:A Space Odyssey.
